About

Robert L. Gordon is an American filmmaker, editor, and producer of documentary and narrative films. His work as a producer and director has screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide, most recently the Tribeca Film Festival and the Nashville Film Festival. He has also worked as an associate producer for PBS. Originally from Southern California, Gordon graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He co-founded 52Films.org, a filmmaking collective whose members make one film each week for a year. 52Films displays Gordon’s belief in democratic filmmaking, in which all workers share in the film’s rewards. Gordon’s work attempts to bridge the lonely distances of our lives and attempts to imagine what another day may entail.
